Ian Taylor is a professional production manager with over a decade of experience in the theatre industry. Ian has an extensive background in stage management and as managing director of the eStage Group, a company dedicated to serving the needs of the entertainment industry.

Working in stage management Ian’s career began with Glyndebourne and The Royal Opera companies in 2004 and 2006, respectively, as an assistant stage manager. Within only a couple years, he became a stage manager for The Royal Opera beginning with Cosi fan tutte in 2010. Other companies he’s stage managed for include ROH2, Future Cinema, Upstage Productions, Opera Holland Park and Pimlico Opera. He has been senior stage manager for Opera Holland Park’s Summer Festival for four years and in 2012 started production managing for Upstage Productions, The Philharmonia Orchestra, W11 Opera, Arcola Theatre, The Royal Opera, Ice&FirePapatango Theatre Company and Secret Cinema.

Throughout his tenure in various management roles, Ian has had the pleasure of working with some of the industry’s greatest talent and creative minds. He looks forward to continuing his career in the theatre, in conjunction with producing the Stage Careers Conference and running his companies part of the eStage Group.

Founded in 2016, the Stage Careers Conference was launched the team at eStage Production Ltd with the aim to bring together industry professionals offering knowledge, advice and guidance based on their careers working in the industry. Providing genuine first hand experience and tips in the form of talks, workshops, and Q & A’s.

With a deep understanding for the needs of individual performers and the arts industry in general, Ian brings over a decade of expertise to the eStage Group, his Digital firm focuses exclusively on creating a vibrant online presence for those in the entertainment industry. Offering full creative services to entertainers and arts organizations, specializing in website design, domain registration and hosting, ensuring maximum business potential in the information age.

Ian holds a bachelor’s degree in stage management and technical theatre, with honors, from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
